No matter what type of diaper bag you pick to use... Backpack, messenger, over the shoulder, or tote bag you need to make sure that it is well stocked with the significant items that you will need when you are on the go. Here is a uncut diaper bag checklist of all the items that you should stock in your diaper bag so that you are ready for any event that can arise.

1. Diapers. I recommend as a rule to pack one diaper for every hour that you plan to be away from the house.

2. Diaper Sacks. You can purchase scented diaper sacks so that when your baby is stinky you can put them in the bags, tie them off, and throw them in the trash can in the restroom without offending anyone with the odor.

3. Baby Wipes. These are important, not only to clean up diaper messes, but messy hands, faces, car seats and more. A must have in whether a plastic wipe case or in a resalable bag that will keep them moist.

4. face Wipes. Lysol makes a great face wipe, carry a few in your diaper bag so that you can clean and disinfect group shopping carts, group tables, and highchair trays. You can keep these in a ziplock bag, but make sure that you label it so they do not get mixed up with the baby wipes.

5. Small First Aid Kit. Especially prominent as kids get older, but get in the habit from the beginning.

6. Pacifiers. I would recommend holding two, in the event that one gets dropped on the floor. I would also recommend that you keep them in a ziplock bag so that they stay clean inside the diaper bag.

7. Extra change of Clothing for Child. Keep them in a gallon sized ziplock bag so that in the event you need to change clothes due to emergency or spill you can use the ziplock bag to store the dirty clothes in without soiling the inside of your bag. Make sure it is a season standard unblemished change of clothes... Shirt, pants, socks, sweater.

8. Snacks/Food. If your baby is at the age for solid foods than make sure you keep a jar of baby food and or snacks that are age standard for the baby. I recommend holding snacks, such as Cheerios, in a small plastic, air tight box to keep them fresh and keep them from getting crushed in a bag.

9. Bottles. I all the time recommend packing bottles of water so that you will use the same water source that the baby is used to in order to prevent tummy troubles. If your baby feeds every three hours you will need to form how many you will need for your estimated time you will be gone.

10. Formula. On the go there are numerous ways to keep your recipe in your diaper bag. Many recipe companies make tubes that you can tear open and pour into bottles of water. You can also use plastic recipe dividers that hold three feedings. You naturally scoop the right estimate of recipe into each section and then turn the top and empty each one when needed. You can keep a can of recipe in the diaper bag and naturally scoop what you need as you go and keep it in the bag until empty.
